How long does it take?
A custom database can be completed from start to finish in several
weeks. The exact time depends of course on the size of the project, and
your availability to respond to the design in progress.
How much does it cost?
Prices for a custom database can range from a few hundred dollars
up to several thousand and beyond, depending on the project. Pricing can
be by project quote or hourly fee.
What if I have questions while I'm using the database?
Ongoing support is available - from a quick phone call to design additions
and changes. Call to inquire about the cost of support.
What if I'm across the country?
While it's wonderful to meet face to face, it's easy to work with you
to create a database that will meet your needs by communicating via email
and phone. PDFs of the ongoing design can be emailed and viewed as the
project progresses. The final product can be sent on disk.
What database software is used?
Our databases are designed in Microsoft Access, which is
one of the top desktop database management solutions
available
perfect for small to medium sized organizations or for anyone with
a specific data handling need
easily integrated with Microsoft Office - Word, Publisher, Excel,
Outlook
What if I don't own Access?
You may already have Access if you have Microsoft Office software.
If your version of Microsoft Office does not include Access, it is widely
available for sale in stores or online for a modest price.
